Course Overview


Effective Workplace Communication offers you science-based communication techniques to engage with a wide range of audiences, read people quickly and implement adjustments that narrow the gap of differences.


This is a hands-on, experiential learning programme that offers application-based practice and brain-based learning. 


Course Objectives


You will be equipped with the skills for verbal and non-verbal communication, calibrate rapport, as well as NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) techniques for creating clear lines of communication. 


Pick up unspoken cues and decode people’s communication styles within a 5-minute conversation, and expand your communication flexibility to enhance first impressions and deepen connection with others. 


The knowledge and practice you gain from the course will empower you to communicate with clarity and impact, and narrow the gap between “best intentions vs impression” perceived by others in a professional setting.

Joseph Ch'ng

Joseph is an NLP & ICI Coach Trainer with 10 years of business leadership experience. He has certified over 300 practitioners in professional coaching, people skills, and profiling. He specializes in applying NLP with multiple disciplines, including systems thinking, experiential learning, the Enneagram, Polarity Thinking, Agile, and Tai Chi.

Joseph’s clients include Boston Consulting Group, Hilti, BNP Paribas, Tapestry, F5 Networks, Changi Hospital Group, SGX, Pulau Sambu, EDB, and GovTech.

Certification


Participants who have successfully demonstrated competence in all the knowledge and skills requirements in this programme will be awarded with a Statement of Attainment (SOA) by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). 

Certificate of Completion from Mind Transformations

  • Upon meeting at least 100% attendance and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from Mind Transformations.

Additional Details


The course will be conducted in English.

  • Be able to speak, listen, read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 6
  • Basic IT proficiency that extends to the use of the internet, email, Microsoft Word, Google Forms or its equivalent software

Funding Eligibility Criteria:

  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents 

  • From 1 October 2023, attendance-taking for SkillsFuture Singapore's (SSG) funded courses must be done digitally via the Singpass App. This applies to both physical and synchronous e-learning courses

  • Trainee must pass all prescribed tests / assessments, and attain 100% competency

  • Mind Transformations reserves the right to claw back the funded amount from trainee if he/she did not meet the eligibility criteria

  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents

  • Eligible Singapore Citizens can use their SkillsFuture Credit to offset course fee payable after funding.

Absentee Payroll (AP) Funding:

  • $4.50 per hour, capped at $100,000 per enterprise per calendar year.

  • AP funding will be computed based on the actual number of training hours attended by the trainee.
