If you are a leader or coach who wants to enhance your impact and effectiveness in empowering others to take ownership and perform at their best, this is the course for you. 

If you wish to pursue a coaching certification accredited by the International Association of Coaching Institutes (ICI), this course is an important pre-requisite.

Course Overview


"Coaching to Build Ownership and Drive Performance” aims to address one of the most important needs of the workforce today: How to empower people to drive themselves toward higher performance.


This is a hands-on, experiential learning programme that offers supervised application-based practice & feedback, NLP tools, and brain-based learning. 

You will be introduced to Multi-Intelligence Neuro-Linguistic Programming (MI-NLP). Developed by Mind Transformations, MI-NLP seamlessly integrates scientifically-validated adult development frameworks to produce ecological and lasting improvements in mental, emotional and physical dimensions. 

Course Objectives


This course offers leaders and coaches these important developments:

  1. The ability to hold coaching conversations that foster ownership and commitment, rather than resistance or mere compliance.
  2. A Generative Coaching mindset that enhances both the coachee’s resourcefulness and the leader or coach’s effectiveness.
  3. Science-backed tools and frameworks for driving improvement and tracking performance.

The knowledge and practice you gain from the course will be directly applicable to your work and leadership role, enhancing your impact and effectiveness within the organisation.

This course is one of the pre-requisites for the Associate Coach certification, accredited by the International Association of Coaching Institutes (ICI). Upon completing all training and coaching hour requirements, participants may apply for the ICI-accredited Associate Coach (AC) certification.

Joseph Ch'ng

Joseph is an NLP & ICI Coach Trainer with 10 years of business leadership experience. He has certified over 300 practitioners in professional coaching, people skills, and profiling.


He specialises in applying NLP with multiple disciplines, including systems thinking, experiential learning, the Enneagram, Polarity Thinking, Agile, and Tai Chi.

Joseph’s clients include Boston Consulting Group, Hilti, BNP Paribas, Tapestry, F5 Networks, Changi Hospital Group, SGX, Pulau Sambu, EDB, and GovTech.

Certification


Participants who have successfully demonstrated competence in all the knowledge and skills requirements in this programme will be awarded with a Statement of Attainment (SOA) by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). 

Upon meeting at least 100% attendance and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from Mind Transformations.

Additional Details


The course will be conducted in English.

  • Be able to speak, listen, read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 6
  • Basic IT proficiency that extends to the use of the internet, email, Microsoft Word, Google Forms or its equivalent software

  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents 

  • From 1 October 2023, attendance-taking for SkillsFuture Singapore's (SSG) funded courses must be done digitally via the Singpass App. This applies to both physical and synchronous e-learning courses

  • Trainee must pass all prescribed tests / assessments, and attain 100% competency

  • Mind Transformations reserves the right to claw back the funded amount from trainee if he/she did not meet the eligibility criteria

  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents

  • Eligible Singapore Citizens can use their SkillsFuture Credit to offset course fee payable after funding.

PSEA:

Absentee Payroll (AP) Funding:

  • $4.50 per hour, capped at $100,000 per enterprise per calendar year.

  • AP funding will be computed based on the actual number of training hours attended by the trainee.
